Overview
Founded in 1880, 11 New Square is the oldest established set of chambers in London to specialise exclusively in tax law. Today, their barristers advise and represent clients in all areas of tax law, in all Courts and tax Tribunals throughout the UK. What they don’t know, isn’t worth knowing.

Brief
11 New Square is a much-loved client that has worked with us for over six years. During that time the chambers have grown and tech has moved on, leaving their old site requiring a much-needed refresh. The barristers and clerks were looking for a site that was fresh, professional, and would finally work beautifully on mobile devices.
Solution
The old site was built on a custom PHP based CMS that we used back in the day. The priority was to give 11 New Square plenty of flexibility so we set the new site up on WordPress (our CMS of choice). Once on WordPress, we could offer 11 New Square unlimited functionality and give them a site that is easy to manage and maintain without the additional development costs that are incurred by running a custom-built solution.
Result
11 New Square put their trust in us to create them a new look that evolved both their brand and website into something that reflected the changes at the chambers. We finished the site off with subtle scroll effects that look to enhance the user’s experience without distracting from their content.
